William C. Plumstead Jr. joined PQT Services Company in 2004 after more than twenty (20) years working in the computer industry. Mr. Plumstead began his NDT career in 2004 as a technician. He is a current ASNT NDT Level III (ASNT #152428) in

four (4) methods, a licensed IRRSP Radiographer in both Gamma and X-Ray and a Registered Radiation Safety Consultant. He also has technical knowledge and practical experience in two (2) additional methods. In 2006, he developed and implemented the website for online NDT training.
Mr. Plumstead is a member of ASNT and served on the ASNT Board of Directors for three (3) years. He also served as the Secretary of the Penetrating Radiation Subcommittee for five (5) years and remains an active member of the SNT-TC-1A Subcommittee since 2005. He is a member of ASTM International Committee E07 Nondestructive Testing and served as an officer for eight (8) years. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Editorial Review Subcommittee for fourteen (14) years. He holds a bachelor of science degree.
