Dear Sir, Sorry for the delayed response. I was unaware of your inquiry until today (May 29th). Teledyne Crankshaft Ultrasonic certification is not a current online feature, so your email was not expected in that area of our web training. Refresher training for the Teledyne Crankshaft Ultrasonic certification may be available by 2007; however, a Practical examination is required where a demonstration is required using the ultrasonic equipment. The on-line training will reduce the total time for on-site training, but will not eliminate the training typically held in Greenville, South Carolina. Online training is now available for Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT). This course is designed to engage students with a highly interactve multimedia experience. Students can quickly navigate the course using the explorer style menu option or simply step through the guided course via "next" and "previous" buttons. Additionally, students can bookmark key pages for easy review or use the powerful search tool to quickly find any page or pages within the course. This course includes narrated audio and many graphical images to enhance the training environment. A variety of quizzes and progress tests are provided at the end of each lesson to ensure the proper understanding of the principles and concepts of Liquid Penetrant Testing. Does this class meet the qualifications for NAS-410 Level II certification?? If not, is there a way to complete the training on line? |

John, Our online Liquid Penetrant Testing training meets the required training hours for SNT-TC-1A. However, depending on which revision of the NAS-410 document your using, the training hours required for Level II are significantly higher.
We offer NAS 410 Level II training at our training facility in Greenville, SC. This training is a combination of classroom training and a hands-on workshop consisting of 32 hours of training. This training will meet the requirements of both versions of the NAS 410 document. You can register for our NAS 410 Liquid Penetrant Testing class using our Online Registration page.
